Fixture

AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) is thrilled to release the 2023/24 TIO Northern Territory Football League (NTFL) Premier League fixture, starting on Friday 6 October 2023.

As per the 2022/23 season, the Men’s Premier League (MPL), Women’s Premier League (WPL) and MPL Reserves teams will play the same opponent on the same weekend each round.

As announced on Friday 15 September, all matches in Round 1 will be at the home of Territory Footy, TIO Stadium for TIO Round. AFLNT continues to celebrate the incredible, ongoing support of long-standing NTFL Premier Partner TIO, who have supported territory football for over 30 years.

As always, a highlight of the WPL season will be the grand final rematch between PINT and Waratah in Round 3 - scheduled for a Sunday afternoon twilight match at Gardens Oval.

Round 4 is dedicated to the green army, the Umpires who continue to service our game, and is an opportunity for players and spectators alike to recognise the hard work and dedication shown by the TIO NTFL’s 14th club, the umpiring group.

Round 7 on Saturday, November 18 will be a special occasion across the competition as the TIO NTFL celebrates Indigenous Round, with the Tiwi Bombers taking on St Mary’s in Wurrumiyanga, one of three matches hosted on the Tiwi Islands this season.

AFLNT is proud to continue their work with the No More Campaign, and in Round 10, Saturday 9 December all Premier League sides will once again make their stance against family violence.

Round 17, Saturday 9 February 2024 is dedicated to raising awareness for the Towards Zero campaign. This specialty round encourages community discussion around the responsibility that we all have in playing our part to make zero deaths and serious injuries on our roads a reality.

The 2023/24 TIO NTFL Finals Series will commence on the weekend of Friday 23 February 2024.
